Windows 10 Recover Password - Microsoft Community


i running dell desktop running windows 10.  i gave computer daughter purchased new one.  my daughter has today set computer after 6 months moving house.  she did not keep note of password gave her, , computer not work.  anyone ideas how can recover password can computer , running.

assist better, know if daughter using microsoft account log in computer?

if daughter using microsoft account, may reset password on link. follow these steps reset microsoft account's password:

  1. type in microsoft account on email address field, , click next.
  2. click forgot password.
  3. choose reason why can't sign in.
  4. follow on-screen instructions on how can reset microsoft account's password.

if issue persists, suggest contact answer desk better assistance.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
