Windows 10 Troubleshooting 0xc0000021A - Microsoft Community


hi all,

i've had quite hard time trying troubleshoot error code 0xc0000021a upon boot, resulting in blue screen.
so far i've managed boot machine disabling driver signature enforcement using advanced startup recovery options, others won't work (even safe mode).
this leaves machine vulnerable , unusable applications, i'm looking fix issue.

the issue popped recently, after installing several programs associated graphics , games.
i've tried uninstalling (and re-installing afterwards) of components trying fix issue, without luck.

i've ran malwarebytes scans, windows defender scans, kaspersky's tdsskiller , other ones - of them 0 infections found.

other options in advanced startup recovery menu don't seem either:
- system restore isn't available there no restore points before point when problem occurred.
- windows startup repair can't manage fix issue.
- system image recovery isn't available there no recent images.

chkdsk finds no errors or bad sectors.

sfc failed several times after managed boot machine. until ran cmd in advanced startup recovery options described here, said ran succesfully once - when running again there remaining issues with c:\windows\system32\aepic.dll in csb log:
hashes file member \??\c:\windows\system32\aepic.dll do not match actual file [l:9]'aepic.dll'
i don't want grab dll use replace net, since don't know reliable sources these kind of dlls.

also, windows 10 date.

is there can me out troubleshooting issue?
i don't know anymore , re-installing machine isn't option @ moment.
any hint or direction in appreciated, in advance!

may need thoroughly check hard drive errors (be sure inspect cable best can).

after checking drive , cabling.thoroughly check hard drive errors using advanced methods , the manufactuter's  diagnostic utilities.

these more efficient methods check disk. <- advanced methods.

command prompt of the windows 10 disk (boot it) :

chkdsk /f /r
(space after k , before /  , after f , before / )

reboot

sfc /scannow
(space after c , before / )

reboot
