i have strange issue regarding start button , alt+tabbing in windows 10. let me preface saying don't seem incur performance issues on games or programs use in general.  this issue not occur on other user profile created within computer.   on primary windows profile, whenever hit start button can take few seconds load.  that's fine.  if try more once or twice in succession, computer temporarily freezes.  it seems display old glitch mouse start slowing down , lagging computer beeping bunch of times.  i've tried watch resources cannot see what's spiking whatever starts freeze computer shows after begins lock , disappears begins work again.   if use start button once, no issue.  if have use back more once or twice, that's typically when occurs.  alt+tabbing seems cause same problem.  computer free of malware / viruses.    hello matthew, this interesting issue. can caused several reasons.

ive spent of day working this.  i able install latest 64bit iso usb.  it took long long time , in, asked several odd questions, , giant icons, black bar @ bottom , original picture on screen.  when went settings , checked insider asked if had account , gave me option choose one, did, , said needed restart. it did , @ normal screen waiting enter password. failed before, pressed key , worked.  i logged in, , tried reset colors, , items on task bar.  trying rid of black task bar.  before when changed window color changed bar color too.  but didnt work.  i scrolled down screen , saw new, task bar, , clicked several things off, cortana, , else , clicked icon connection off, , changed!   my mouse got tiny, bar skinny, , unreadable.. oh set icons small, lol, when tried settings window? never opened, nothing, saw settings icon under start , clicked it, still nothing happened, screen went black, looked machine working. waited.  nothing.   i turned off

my dell xps 18 laptop came windows 8, updated 8.1, , 10.  sleeping , waking sleep working fine.   month ago upgraded hdd ssd.  installed windows 10 clean on blank ssd.  computer still goes sleep fine, every time try wake sleep, acts rebooted. i have latest drivers (as part of clean install), , verified have latest bios dell.  i've searched online problems reboot when waking sleep, none of info i've found has helped me solve problem. looking in event viewer critical , error events, after each wake sleep attempt there error event eventid:16, source:kernel-boot.   followed critical event with  eventid:41, source:kernel-power, taskcategory:(63).  i've uploaded 3 fresh .dmp files created sleeping, trying wake sleep.  i've included .nfo file generated msinfo32, , 3 .evtx files (from event viewer) showing eventid 16 & 41 same time each of .dmp files.  7 files available here . my unsatisfactory workaround changed power plan never

i have pc set dual boot system windows 10 64 bit , windows 10 32 bit.  the primary account names , email addresses both os's identical.  when try access files created on 64 bit os 32 bit os, i'm denied access. when check " advanced security settings " document says:    owner: unable display current owner    permissions: you not have permission view object's security properties, administrative user.                         try taking ownership of object, includes permissions view it's properties, click change above. i'm curious "ownership" suggestion.  i created files , folders 64 bit os thought owned them. when click " change " window " select user or group " appears contains 3 fields:    select object type    (what type should select?)    from location         (how/where determine name of correct location?)    enter object name    (how/where find object name?) at point, don
