hi. windows 10 seems have numerous maintenance tasks might launch when concludes computer idle.  problem of these generate a lot of disk activity. i'm software engineer; need computer responsive between 7 a.m. , 5 p.m.  it's kind of frustrating go bathroom , come find windows 10 hammering disk , continues hammer @ least 15 minutes. i see in task scheduler there numerous tasks either no trigger defined or custom trigger defined execute during regular working time.  i'm assuming windows starts these tasks when determines need run. i have no problem windows doing maintenance on computer.  don't want these tasks done during regular working hours.  there way tell windows when can these tasks or when can't these tasks? being software engineer, go task scheduler , give items in question scheduled time. also, many maintenance items stopped system once detects actively using computer.

hello, i using windows 10 last 6 months, , error occured in last week. my pc won't boot. tried enter recovery enviroment stuck on black screen cursor. restared pc , windows logo dots appered got stuck on that.. after reinstalled windows 10 , installation succeful, files deleted. thought installation of new windows 10 fix problem, doesn't. again restared pc , error happens again. still can't access recovery enviroment. @ point smash pc baseball bat. please me... searched forums , can't find solutions... need pc repaired. respondes in advance. respond, managed fix problem myself. problem in hard drive. when disconnected windows started normally. wiped hard drive , runs smothly. if have more problems let know.  Windows / Windows 10 / Performance & system failures /

hey everyone, thanks in advance help. i facing issue our clients , our software, able monitor win event logs. they using win server 2008 r2 , want monitor critical events, our application offer following option: "trigger alert when event type equals error" working fine, alerts triggered, when critical events occur, expected. the client don't believe me critical events substituted error  event types :) , request official answer microsoft. only thing found "event log win 10 dummies" event types explained , there no critical events choose, dont want sent him. can confirm change, there no more critical event types after windows server 2012 adn substituted error event types ? or maybe m wrong , need reprogram application. one more times, thank !!! your questions may better answered in tech net forums: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/ W
