while moving location of user profile folders (desktop, documents, downloads, pictures, etc) second drive save space on ssd boot drive, accidentally merged pictures , desktop folders together. repaired using "restore default" option under location tab in properties. however, accidentally merged desktop folder user profile folder when moving ssd boot drive (i thought desktop stay on drive afterall). situation @ present following: my desktop folder has been restored location c:\users\ username \desktop all functioning normal, , folder has been re-identified system folder (a lot of forum searching make happen). however, issue still present user profile folder incorrectly shown in file exporer c:\users\ desktop even though in registry , file structure (using cmd prompt etc) correctly listed c:\users\ username for folder , sub-folders. i have been unable rectify issue , appreciate help. computer functional is, glitch

i have been suffering high , extreme dpc latency. manifesting audio glitches, stuttering cursor , video stuttering. after time browsing internet , using latencymon. have found problem coming from. after few hours latencymon reports highest dpc 10,000 - 25,000 ndis.sys being culprit. if computer left on over 4 hours latencymon 100,000us+ , computer rendered unusable. something have tried : updated , tried different drives. updated bios. disabled kinda cpu throttling. uninstalled third party anti-virus. checked system file integrity. i found bit of bug think.. when have few programs up, close 1 would've tabbed out if tabbed out, nothing happens. if tries go closed window, cant find it, cancels it. or maybe thinks tabbed program, program in process of closing, doesnt show up? little wierd thing noticed.. i know thats not explanation understand , fix or tell me if im 1 doing wierd. try steps here:  click here. trouble logging in since forgot password. since sole user (admin), can't reset password since not connected network. used laptop log in microsoft account , reset password won't since desktop not connected internet. friend mentioned since didnt setup machine xps8910, locked out desktop. pls help bimal hi bimal, to address concern, kindly refer helpful support articles: when can't sign in microsoft account . unblock microsoft account . if don't have internet access on desktop, can access links through smart phones. need connect smart phone wi-fi or use mobile data connection. we'll here if need more help. my original windows 10 user admin account went bad , can't fixed (no start menu, no cortana, multiple dism's , sfc's couldn't fix). set new user account works how move microsoft account new user when settings not available!? since setup new account, 1 of best ways move forward remove broken/busted account entirely.  you can settings while you're logged good/working account.  or can running command "netplwiz" (no quotes) , removing broken account there. afterwards you'll able link new/working account microsoft account in settings. scam has been going on couple of years now, have had more calls can remember, have pretended police station , phone goes dead, have pretended asked , wasted thier time, have told them lost, technology of today wonder why havent been tracked down. spoke , tho numbers has them numbers originating in country calling re routed numbers base in india, if know why cant close them down, in day , age can find needle in haystack, why cant find them!!!!!!!!!! i've seen few threads on this, can't sort it. i running bullguard security alongside windows 10.  following creators update, cloud backup service cannot connect. the obvious place firewalls, whenever turn off windows firewall, turns on again, watch. any ideas? thanks. i solved problem re-installing software.   i'm still not sure whether have 2 firewalls or one!  the way permanently disable windows firewall first disable bullguard one.  i suspect bullguard using windows firewall. anyway, issue resolved dave Windows / Windows 10 / Security & privacy / PC
