hello, so problem started after intended install software , got malware instead. it's uc browser. i've tried download malwarebytes , adwcleaner none of them clean because have been crashed before run completely. can't sign in account because " the security account manager (sam) or local security authority (lsa) server in wrong state perform security operation." read caused of malware. should do? don't have other account in pc btw don't have other access. thank you. might sound stupid, have tried restarting computer? oddly enough, worked me. hi, i have 2 ssd(256gb) , 1 hdd(1tb), apps , windows use ssds, hdd use storage. i have issue windows reading data hdd don't have apps on it, hdd going in idle fast when windows trying read data freezes 1-2 secs spin hdd (i can hear spin when tries, zuuuuuum , takes 1-2 secs recover).  (even if use browser example) i had issue before last year forgot how solve it, issue appeared again before build 15007. i have problem windows 10 power button (on keyboard). know there no issue button since works hard shut down (holding few seconds turns off laptop), doesn't work short press. maybe once out of 10 times go sleep. m aybe, happens rarely, not sure. i once saw options selected (hibernate) or choose option after pressed button, window never appeared after. maybe clicked ignore. although had issue start, before once managed see these options. all settings correct in power plans , in choose power button (i found choices in 2 places, not sure else look). so, how can hibernate/sleep laptop power button on keyboard? i ran power troubleshoot. update: tested button. after pressed rapidly 6-9 times did went sleep it's supposed to. how 1 press? after waking button press need turn on numlock it's turned on. strange. how doing same acion gives different results. wirks rapid presses. hey guys, why see more 1 os boot splash screen when os booting? so i've had laptop while (hp probook 4720s). came suse linux installed, replaced windows 7, later on replaced windows 10. did quick hard drive format followed clean install. migrated c drive original hdd ssd, switched mbr gpt , bios uefi. ever since did that, boot sequence goes through 3 different splash screens: 1 black background white "loading" bar, 1 old windows 7 loading splash screen , windows 10 loading splash screen. googling problem, found possible answer why happening: " on mbr disk, partitioning , boot data stored in 1 place. if data overwritten or corrupted, you’re in trouble. in contrast, gpt stores multiple copies of data across disk, it’s more robust , can recover if data corrupted. " could that, during boot, old boot data being found first, because weren't overwritten during other os installs, since aren't linked corresponding os

i went using desktop pc, running smoothly on 10 days until 2 days ago, when desktop started exhibiting weird symptoms. suddenly, booting started taking on 20+ minutes (as opposed under 30 seconds under normal circumstances) , makes me frustratingly wait again more 10 minutes @ login screen. the hard disk light glows constantly, indicating fact it's running @ 100% . once logged-in after insanely frustrating wait, resource monitor showed process super generic name of "system" performing intense write operation on sector of disk. when looked @ event viewer, under 'system' tab, find large bunch of errors 'disk' tag, description: "the device, \device\harddisk0\dr0, has bad block." after this, ran smart test on hard drive using seatools windows.  my hard drive (which less 2 years old) passed tests. now, when tried restarting again, encountered same issue. had wait insanely long time, tested patience. no

everything fine until latest update on 2/21/2017. pc randomly freezes , may or may not unfreeze. ctrl/alt/del wouldn't come let alone start menu shut down. had shut down on pc. after 3 times of har booting ctrl/alt/del worked got hung on preparing security options. norton says computer safe. running now. suggestions. frustrated not word can describe how feel. new computer should t happening.  hi serenity, to better windows 10 update, kindly click link . let know how goes. i have had windows 10 since got computer, has 16gb of ram , use work in photoshop, premiere, , illustrator time. play games on ocassionally. in past week, using photoshop , having 1 tab open in chrome low memory warning pop up. check task manager , tells me i'm using 44% - 47% of ram. gives? have no idea solve this, can help? here's system info: processor: intel core i7-4790k cpu @ 4.00ghz 4.00ghz installed memory (ram): 16.0gb (15.9 gb useable) system type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor pen , touch: pen support i have second monitor , cintiq hooked use if might have it? driver date cintiq though.  if knows how solve appreciate it. please provide more information cause of problem may diagnosed.   please restart computer , allow 20 minutes system run before uploading information required me investigate problem. when examining event viewer log files many, not all, problems
