hello, i system administrator in company using windows os. main problem windows 10 giving me nightmares. here few examples: 1 pc. windows 10 installed on pc, user having problems accessing network, accessing shares, office slow freeze startup. reinstalled windows 7 on pc, user gives me hello every day.  2 pc.  windows cannot print, no matter do, not print (update, restart printer, check printer firmware, nothing), reset not option, replaced phrase "restart pc (10 min maximum) reset pc (1-3 hours minimum). wrong. 3 pc. reset pc fix problem network cable(if left unplugged -> blue screen, if unplug cable after startup , -> blue screen) reset pc, works, after windows updates -> blue screen.  now microsoft must keep it's cleaning crew (in regards microsoft developer skills) working, not how life suppose go, cannot reset each , every pc/laptop -> reinstall software -> , because wise cleaning guy developer didn't test update

i forced asus laptop update windows 10. when turned on day after updated , shut down, nothing working. @ first had black screen; moved cursor , tapped password (blindly) , log in. nothing worked, moved cursor screen frozen. shut power off restart several times, dind't work. see log in screen, no word. shut down more times. finally, got log in , tried restore system indicated in webpage. 1 hour later still 'preparing restore system'. forced shut down , logged in , got message said there problem account had fix. clicked nothing happened , cursor has been 'thinking'circle 10 minutes now. can do? press , hold down power button on computer cause computer restart. on third time should see advanced options menu. select system restore restore computer earlier date , time.   laptops recovery instructions & keys https://www.wintips.org/laptops-recovery-instructions-keys/ Wind

well, may wasting time here goes. along of other people in world, had system upgraded windows 10. had 2 places tp play music, groove music , windows media player. both doing fine till month ago. windows media player quit altogether. seem start quit message there "problem" , couldn't run, telling me notify me if solution found. has done same thing every time try run it. groove music, had been playing songs requested to. suddenly, month ago, quit working. if try play song opens in past , but, instead of playing tune, starts doing inventory of songs can find in entire system. on 1 song waited see do. kept doing search on 2 hours spinning wheel. gave , closed it. then, see do, clicked play next song. started stupid search on again. there way these 2 programs running smoothly again? should give on these 2 non-workers , try find else? assistance appreciated. time. hi mike, to groove player , windows media play

i have installed creators update on lenovo t430. taskbar buggy. external monitor extends display. here 2 screen shots of happens when press windows key on keyboard, transparency turned on , off. each screen shot covers both screens, external monitor on top , laptop monitor below. when transparency off, task bar on external monitor is  too transparent, point of unreadability, , color doesn't match of start menu. i using windows 10 enterprise. i have 3 icons pinned on taskbar stuck: explorer, ie , outlook 2013. have tried delete them , not go away. right clicking on each icon , choosing unpin not work. icon gets removed , after 1 minute comes back. going folder: c:\users\[userid]\appdata\roaming\microsoft\internet explorer\quick launch\user pinned\taskbar , deleting icons there not work, because after delete these 3 shortcut files regenerated after few minutes of time. have tried various registry settings , nothing works. icons keep getting regenerated back. need urgent help. driving me crazy. thanks eli hi eli, to troubleshoot issue, suggest running sfc scan check corrupted files might causing issue. after running scan, may try unpin icons again , check if same issue persist. run sfc scan, please click on link . let know how goes. i use 2tb external hdd on dell xps laptop. laptop on windows 10 home edition os, bitlocker turned on default (possibly local distributor of laptop) on c drive. have left on , made no changes it. when plug in external hdd laptop, works fine, no indication encrypted or locked. bitlocker settings page on laptop not show drive encrypted , can plug-and-play hdd no problems. but on desktop pc (or other pc other dell laptop), same external hdd shows encrypted bitlocker , requires 48-digit recovery key, not have. have checked on microsoft account recovery key laptop saved, recovery key (with key id) c drive of laptop found, not external drive. as understand, bitlocker-to-go - encrypts external removable drives - feature available on windows 10 pro. desktop pc, use hdd, windows 10 pro. laptop windows 10 home , not have feature available it. is possible since laptop c drive bitlocker encrypted, somehow extended encryption removable external drive? becaus
