hi, i had error message appearing in office 365 applications yesterday. contacted office 365 support, , remoted pc , took me through number of steps resolve issue. part of these steps asked delete of "generic credentials" in windows credentials list. fixed issues had in office 365, noticed shortly afterwards unable access of windows encrypted files. i set encryption on pc using built-in windows functionality last year (i.e. right-clicking on folders, going properties, advanced, , ticking box next "encrypt contents secure data"). has worked well, , have never had issues accessing encrypted files until after call office 365 support yesterday. given "access denied" , similar error messages when try open encrypted files (word, excel, pdf, power point). non-encrypted files can still opened normally. i contacted office support team again, unable me because apparently windows issue, not office issue. given different numbe

i using windows 10 on pc since several months , had no problem. 1 day system took lot of time install 1 system update when opening session (also admin session) , after finished , after rebooting, problem appeared: windows explorer enters bucle crashing , restarting 2 times per second.  the desktop wallpaper not appear black. can open , use task administrator though. the thing problem not happen other 2 accounts in computer, indeed i'm using 1 of those. i can open correctly account once every 7 days more or less, after rebooting have same problem again. the last time go account correctly, tried update old drivers, check if causing problem (i did not see wrong). desactivated possible programs on windows start, in case 1 causing crash when starting. run avg tuneup check problems , fixed everything, issue persists. of course can open account in safe mode, don't know how else proceed find causing crashes. does have idea???

this follow-up previous post on issue, before updated newest windows 10. i never have used password sign in windows on computer, way vista , windows 7.  just windows asked me password on previous windows 10, older version, , unable sign in.  i did system restore, , signed in , posted previous question how add password if you've never used one, because there no option so.  i updated recent version , build, , when first got sign-in screen, able sign in because of microsoft community membership.  however, there still no option available add password, , response inquiry indicated there might "bug" in update, meant should continue sign in using microsoft community id , password. last night, shut down computer, , when turned on again, got sign-in screen asking me password.  the option sign in microsoft account did not appear did first 2 times signed in after rebooting updated windows 10.  obviously, using different computer send inquiry,

this has been happening since recent build: ***note: have ran under sun, sfc, chkdsk, troubleshooting, svcs, etc etc etc - not stop popping after either warm or cold reboot, starting after complete shut down. scans, shooting, cmd, etc etc - showing fine? **** of note: error code windows update? (per research)  functioning fine, result of build itself? there's no file corruption way integrity errors. real time windows defender - not windows update; superimposed - win update fine, win defend fine, fine - pop-up annoying. ps: no not have malware, virus, trojan, etc - ran stinger, malwarebytes, etc etc - nothing - it's clean! do believe i'm idiot? guys way on heads running assumptions , presumptions: - aware of codes , et al - hence why not post extreme - because reasons of posting et al pertaining registry cause complications. fyi: william henry gates, iii aka bill gates or mr. microsof

i bought dell desktop pc few months ago windows 10 installed. had outlook account attached laptop, , account synced on fine (desktop background, image, , all.) earlier today, shut down pc. came again few hours later, , attempted log in usual account. says logging in , takes few seconds normal, until "preparing windows..." pops up. i think it's update, , wait. then blue screen pops "wait moment.." , makes me temporary user profile. have attempted log out , log in multiple times, same result. tried switching user ctrl+alt+del screen, nothing works. at worst, i'll just make new user. attempt , restore old account however. can please help? edit: have run "sfc /scannow" , not find (somebody said run post.) should transport files, or attempt fix problem in safemode? i have attempted reboot pc. still nothing. edit 2: when check account details, shows outlook , everything. me!
