hi, i have issue not able identify. what issue is? some time ago pc started crashing after several months of brilliant working , gaming process. started receiving bsod different crash codes. this has been frustration of mine time receiving popup messages in browser saying have problem computer , directing me various sites or call phone number or receiving phone calls. today got popup call phone number claims microsoft support @ url www.geekcustomercare.com,  so called number.  when asked person kelly martin on other end prove works microsoft of course not , guess stupid question.  she told me have allow remote computer.  i replied  "not chance because know scam". years ago trust microsoft based on domain name not anymore. why isn't there list provided on microsoft.com person refer in order validate company or person works microsoft? the listing should show company names domain names , phone numbers of certified trusted third party contractors. such list @ least reduce number of phone , web page scams if public aware of list. you can message says should ring number sort out problems

for work, need login remotely on windows server. searched 'remote desktop' in start menu. when clicked 'remote desktop connection' browser (seamonkey, version 2.46) started. each time close tab in browser, , want reopen window called ’opening xyzremotedesktop.rdp' appears. when select ok session started.   i saved shortcut remote desktop other server desktop. when click browser again started, asking me should do. when tell open 'remote desktop (default)', connection started.   w hy browser started, instead of remote desktop session? what can default way of work, directly starting session, works? i post in 'desktop, start & personalization' not know topic should reside   i tried suggested, found out not work suggested :'-). however, after clicking (internet) shortcut, , choosing save instead of use remote desktop connection, saved .rdp file desktop. when click co

i have windows 10, dell laptop, boots non-user screen (field of flowers). there no option users accounts. mouse cursor move around, if click or press ctrl button, screen goes black screen , nothing else ever shows up.  after while cursor shows in blank screen , can move it, nothing else.  ctrl+alt+del dose not work.  if reboot power button same thing. i can f2 , f12 screens boot , setup?   don't know if of help. i tried f4 safe mode, no luck? any ideas? thanks greg hello greg, regarding concern black screen after boot , no longer proceed desktop, can try system diagnostics first aid: to there: boot pc , continually press f2 (alternatively, press , hold), until reach system diagnostics menu. use arrow keys navigate , choose   hard drive check . choose   extensive check. allow finish checking , reboot pc normal update results. hello, initially had error start menu, start menu , taskbar not working, hence created administrator account , deleted previous account (microsoft account) , don't have problem start menu , taskbar. windows store , other windows 10 apps not opening error says can't opened built-in administrator account. tried add hotmail account existing account, i'm getting error stating as "this snapin may not used edition of windows 10. manage user accounts computer, use user accounts tool in control panel " .  please me find solution problem. thank you, the built in administrator account cannot used day day account. there quite few things cannot it. hobbled because security concerns of using great. if using it, should create administrator account disable built in administrator Windows / Windows 10 /

i've had repeated malware turn on pc, each time quarantined defender until removal.  file roguetechjsa (or ending in e or f).  turns again until offline scan run which finds infected file keeps letting in malware.  defender identifies trojan horse type. what has caused me wonder if somehow connected bing, strong coincidence -- each time it's happened has been after bing search.  don't search internet on regular basis, had on several occasions searching rolls of discontinued wallpaper.  brought bing mind not had used search, after last malware attack, had gone week free of having malware turn -- until ran bing search trying find info on over counter anti inflammatory cats.  , malware turned again.  removed again , did offline scan found infected file.  2 days , no bing searches later, no malware attack far. is possible malware this?  know phish attacks can hooked search engines, either redirection when going to a web page search result,
