have had issue on desktop pc since 3/13/17 after 2 months of running windows 10...not working-start button, cortana (ask me anything), ctl/alt/del-shutdown, edge, calculator.  re-downloaded windows 10 using upgrade tool-no chg.  wbemprox.dll file corrupt , unable repair or replace.  getting multiple dll errors saying not meant run on windows or has error.  found workaround start button using classic shell - http://www.classicshell.net/downloads/ other problems still exist.  have tried many fixes , suggestions microsoft , online sources to correct issues lost count long ago...nothing works.  'rocket-scientists' @ microsoft need correct these issues asap , make fixes available asap.  happy windows 10 until 3 days ago, looks sloppy, incompetent  work.  have dell inspiron laptop came win10 preloaded...praying these issues not come on also.  appears pretty widespread problem , microsoft needs correct these issues before apple takes on market share.

i posted part of issue in windows live mail when thought problem; have found deeper. i have pasted original query below, first expand on have discovered since. after starting cold start, have: gone through drill of setting windows live mail scratch, accessing new mail, no reflection of old mail or contacts stored on pc.  added second [pop] mail account wlm installed [reinstalled really] firefox opened ms word 2007, though acted new profile , did not display saved documents.  documents on pc hard drive , can located windows explorer , opened successfully. dragged ms word link desktop pinned ms word link task bar run malwarebytes anti-malware successfully, finding no malware [that accident when intended click on firefox icon on desktop. all of sounds good, doing restart results in changes disappearing if had never been done.  have run in circles several times same outcome no matter path take in responding options. this pc has been used wife some

hi. words cannot describe how furious , frustrated am. when installed windows set local account used while before decided switch microsoft account. today decided switch local account. after signing out of microsoft account prompted set new local account. set new account can't see old local account login screen. when try create new account using old name told windows using already. can't see old account login , cannot recreate it. switched microsoft account files , settings cannot seen. when try access other local disks message "access denied". locked out of files. when check user profiles see old profile instead of size taken see question mark. have tried using cmd , regedit still have problem. losing files not option coz important , can't imagine not being able access them. please help!  after signing out of microsoft account prompted set new local account. -> recommend sign in microsoft accoun

the tldr version: after windows 10 cu, nvidia video card stopped working code 43. things have tried far: * updated nvidia driver. - - v 376.09 - working fine 2 years, no longer works - - v 378.48 - "current" version when w10cu landed, doesn't work - - v 382.33 - current of - not work * replaced nvidia card - 750ti, nvidia 750ti.  the new-out-of-box 750ti yields code 43. - - 3 versions of video driver listed above not work. * tried both original 750ti , new 750ti in card slot.  neither 750ti works in either slot. yes stepped through every combination of card, slot, , driver version. i gave on nvidia card , bought new radeon rx460. * rx460 in "original" video card slot, w10 boots up, bluescreens when tries install driver. * rx460 in alternate slot, w10 bluescreens during boot-up (never gets login screen) i replaced motherboard new one, same manufacturer/model (asus z97 think is). * rx460 in original s

one person (on internet) posted following, there personalization selection within group policy. the  path gave below:            user configuration \ administrative templates \ control panel \personalization but there following path:.            user configuration \ administrative templates \ control panel\display and included "prevent changing wallpaper" item, enabled it. this works fine administrator accounts not regular users. objective prevent regular users changing wallpaper.
