win 10 defender issues - Microsoft Community

the other day, had reinstall os--i won't details of why here.

today, in notification area, noticed defender shows 'action needed', opened 'device performance , health.

the 'health report' said there driver issue.  alleged  driver idt audio driver.

i ran troubleshooter, , showed audio driver 'missing', though know there--and updated latest, , working.

but, first, troubleshooter showed 'issue' fixed.  then, said not fixed.

then, wanted initial scan there, , never went past 0%, , no files scanned.

i opened device manager, , said audio device working properly, , aforementioned, driver there , current.

the icon in notification area still shows 'action needed' can't more particulars becausenow, when open defender>performance , health,  says 'health report' not available.

upon reboot, notification icon shows no issues, 'health report still unavailable.

there no other issues--defender acknowledges antivirus.  firewall on , working.

what seems problem here??
