hi,
today discover windows 10 (also version creators) home , professional edition seems not safe data security , privacy.
i discover windows home users there no way protect whindows write on hard disk written in clear car read taking hard disk on different pc external operative system or without remove hard disk using usb linux key (ubuntu)
you can run pc @ start windoes key , select option try linux once on desktop of linux in file manager can see windows folder, users enter in desired user , have access files on desktop. free see pictures, files, etc... have not access destop file full pc files... without know password of windows user, without need on yours pc.
you can copy email profile folder if user use client email have access email account of user maybe in pc... pec, emails, etc. can see files, can take browser cookies or save full programs configuration (browser also) , have full access on pc...
home users have no windows tool protect , know no external tools have opened: file accessibile anyone.
also pro windows users seems not stay better. tried windows pro , not able use bitlocker encrypt hard disk. in case not default option... , if try force activate error tpm. if bypass no more easy use pc , maybe asked time password added windows user password. encryption take long time better encrypt during install not after.... tried ubuntu , ubuntu during install let encrypt user folder.
i tried right click on windows folder , on general can click advanced on windows pro use crypt data check box. once folder encrypted see lockpad simbol. if folder has lockpad able see files inside linux when there no encryption.
so big issue seems windows. can read windows wrote on hard disk without protection (crypt).
i have no words.... not happy discover that, , cannot belive.
