PC sleep - Microsoft Community


about 2 yrs ago, while using win 7, sleep function on both pc , screen stopped working @ same time. 1 day worked expected, next found re-setting amount of time delay combination led pc , screen being disabled, in moving mouse not bring either life. pressing power button had no effect unless held in several seconds. undesirable, that, after several attempts solve problem, , in searching web answer (none found, other common problem) have had set both pc , screen sleep none. 

the situation did not change when installed win 10 ten months ago, find frustrating not able use energy saving facilities. have solution, please?

to resolve concern, follow these steps running power troubleshooter:

  1. press windows key , type "troubleshooting". click on troubleshooting.
  2. on upper left menu, click on view all.
  3. locate power , follow on-screen instructions.
  4. restart computer , check if helps.

if issue continues, suggest contact manufacturer of computer issue consistent windows 7 , windows 10.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
