running chkdsk /f..currently sits @ 100% complete. been way hours. did not take long last time did chkdsk. normal?

chkdsk is system tool in dos, os/2 , windows. verifies file system integrity of volume , fixes logical file system errors.

chkdsk takes time depending on how big hard drive is.  on large capacity drives (such terabyte drives), check can take days or more depending on how many issues finds , needs correct.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
