Computer Administrator/Owner - Microsoft Community

i bought daughter new computer , inherited old one, plan keep. how can delete account , add mine?

to add user account yourself:

1- sign in user account administrator permissions.

2- [there's more 1 way this:] control panel > user accounts > manage account > add user account

to remove daughter's account:

be careful! before delete user account, make sure there no services depend on account. sure user files account (documents, pictures, etc.) have been moved elsewhere.

a computer should have 1 user account has administrator permissions. other accounts should have standard permissions. important security. day-to-day computing in standard account. use administrator account activities can performed in administrator account.
