telephone scammers - Microsoft Community

everyone beware,,these scammers have new act,,got call yesterday,,instead of claiming microsoft windows,, said dell,, asked dell inspiron,,the only problem neither of 2 dells inspiron. said 'i not own inspiron', promptly hung up.

we aware these scams happen, unfortunately, have no control on such things. recommend protect pc performing frequent scans check viruses can take on pc. also, wary of fraudulent emails , calls. microsoft, other software , hardware developers not make unsolicited calls customers unless customer has scheduled/is expecting call. careful , never give out personal information unless have authorized speaking legitimate expert.
