Win10 won't start - SrtTrail.txt says Boot Manager failed to find - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have windows 10 professional 64 bit installation have been using no problems @ least 3-4 months.  after not (knowingly) making changes system today, windows 10 not start. 

when presented options of do, chose troubleshoot | advanced options | startup repair.  after doing this, got black screen windows logo, below saw text "automatic repair" short time, followed "diagnosing pc", followed "attempting repairs".  followed message said "startup repair couldn't repair pc.  press "advanced options" try other options repair pc or "shut down" turn off pc. log file: c:\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt."

the log file indicates following tests completed successfully:

check updates

system disk test

disk failure diagnosis

disk metadata test

target os test

volume content test

boot manager diagnosis

... gets stuck reported follows:

boot manager failed find os loader

repair action: file repair

result: failed. error code = 0x3

time taken = 1454 ms

repair action: boot configuration data store repair

result: failed. error code = 0x2

time taken = 0 ms

i have tried same process booting windows 10 installation dvd same results.  thought going restore point, there none saved.  if has suggestion how might able fix problem, appreciate it.
