Windows 10 Laptop won't shut down - Microsoft Community


i have continuous issue laptop won't shutdown since upgrading windows 10 original windows 7 os. upgraded part of free upgrade when w10 new , had issue. after while did factory reset , reinstalled w10 , laptop fine, changed jobs , had wipe laptop did factory reset , since laptop won't shut down again. leaves wifi light on , fan keeps going, no matter how long leave it, , literally every shutdown.

to try remedy have done clean install settings menu , 2 factory resets won't correct itself. please if can. resigned having force shutdown laptop every time?

turn off fast startup. type 'power options ' in search, open control panel location, select on left 'choose power button does'.
click on 'change settings unavailable' , deselect 'turn on fast startup (recommended)'.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
