Windows 10 taking ages to load devices and printers - Microsoft Community

hi,

 

i have dell latitude i5 cpu, 8gb of ram on windows 7 , decided upgrade laptop windows 10. since upgrade win 10 devices , printers takes around 5 minutes load, have searched net , down cannot seem fix appreciated.

 

these few things have tried;

deleted printers , drivers using print management in mmc

use sfc/scan now

turned off network discovery

use dism cleanup system image command

deleted profile re-created profile/get else log in there profile

reset indexing on laptop

enabled bluetooth services

net stop spooler "del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\* /q /f /s" net start spooler

i'm totally stumped causing realised that other people having same issue there no solution, i'm thinking it's problem actual upgrade installation although i'm not sure working correctly on windows 7 upgraded different pc windows 10 @ same time , seems fine. no 1 else having problem in office, great - john

if issue happened after upgrade, suggest running windows update troubleshooter and see how goes.
