Slow boot on builds since 15002 Toshiba NVMe SSD - Microsoft Community


hi have msi gs43vr laptop on insider fast ring, was, have had keep on 14986 (have tried subsequent builds) due following issue.

1. boot (cold or restart) gets stuck @ first spinning logo i.e. msi logo displayed 2-3 minutes.

2. boot device manager shows 4 instances of nvme hard drive (all apparently working)

3. wake sleep or hibernate results in bsod/gsod there no stop code other critical error , no entry in event log.

there entry in feedback hub blames toshiba drive or driver consequence of change made in build 15002

the drive in question has model number nvme thnsn5256gpu7 

i approached msi unable resolve , advised me stay on 14986 until fixed did not acknowledge problem laptop of ssd drive.

is there can try doing resolve this.

btw rolling 14986 resolves issue completely.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
