i have power settings make computer go hibernation on reaching critical battery level, , critical battery level set 30% on battery. since yesterday, pc won't go hibernation on reaching 30%, instead there red crosshair keeps blinking on battery indicator @ bottom right(see image).

bdw, able hibernate manually.

critical battery level set 30% on battery.

that may wrong value change.  fwiw changed warning 10%.  have left critical @ 5%.   warning (of sorts) sometime , if ignore machine hibernates eventually.  far, each time have had warning have had ample opportunity plug in charger , out of state.

oops.  looking @ balanced plan.  don't think changed above values defaults.  in high performance plan see  low battery level  on battery: 11% , plugged in: 9%   have no idea plugged in thing imply--that charger wasn't working?

normally try use high performance plan when charging, switching balanced when take charger away , switching power saver if starts getting low , charger not available.  use mobility center keep me informed , control switching.
