Taskbar and desktop icons not showing properly - Microsoft Community


when booted computer today desktop looked this.  files on desktop show no thumbnail/icon , items on taskbar show generic icon.  i've tried solutions seemed work other people system restore , deleting iconcache files no luck, , problem exists when create new user.  possible solutions appreciated.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
