Windows 10: devices and printers wont open, funny explorer hang - Microsoft Community

ok, here unusual one.

we purchased 2 asus ux330ua laptops (beautiful thin powerful creatures). setup this:

windows 10 anniversary latest updates.

latest asus driver updates , bios/firmware - updated bios when issue started occur.

office 2016 (office 365)

bitlocker enabled (encrypted whole drive)

connected azure ad , user enrolled mdm.

displaylink 8.1 software

both laptops has issue accessing/opening control panel applet devices , printers (one goes in after few minutes, other doers not open @ all).  however, can install printers using print management! going through forums other users have had success changing bluetooth service , bluetooth support service auto.  did not work us... although there no bluetooth service, bluetooth support service.

when try go devices , printers, file explorer process takes 50% cpu.

i think relates printer , devices problem: of sudden, user loses network via wireless , wired (using usb).  clicking on wired/wireless icon comes blank , continues search (searching dots).  file explorer becomes unresponsive opened windows.  cant close them.  only restart helps… frustrating user has every few days.

we refreshed pc wiped including bloatware software.  issue still occurs.  go through event log , post relevant.

i download copy of windows 10 , clean wipe of disk , install see if helps.

before move more advanced troubleshooting step clean wipe of disk , install,  suggest follow steps on how troubleshoot problems when opening start menu.
