Windows resized and moved upon waking computer up - Microsoft Community


brand new build (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tnpzwx), 2 weeks old, running windows 10 pro. no graphics card, connected monitor via hdmi. put sleep every night , half time wake in morning, windows had open (itunes, bittorrent, etc) have been resized (smaller) , moved upper left corner (https://i.imgur.com/f0qk92o.png). have 21.5 inch asus monitor, display scaling set @ 125%. have windows command script running fixes issue text of programs blurry, contents of file are:

reg add "hkcu\control panel\desktop" /v dpiscalingver /t reg_dword /d 0x00001018 /f
reg add "hkcu\control panel\desktop" /v win8dpiscaling /t reg_dword /d 0x00000001 /f
reg add "hkcu\control panel\desktop" /v logpixels /t reg_dword /d 0x00000078 /f

have gone registry , made sure activesize , primsurf values 1920/1080 , stride 7680. not turn off monitor every night either. ideas?


edit: deleted command script 3 registry edits, fine 2 weeks after , issue returned.

  • have made changes or applied update device before issue occurred?
  • are seeing error messages or error codes? if yes, please send screenshot.
  • what troubleshooting steps have done far?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
