How to create a task to shutdown PC when AC power is off - Microsoft Community

hi,

i trying create task to shutdown pc when ac power off, couldn't find event/log trigger task. ac power connected/disconnected logs stored default , can find them?

in event viewer, had checked windows logs couldn't see log when disconnect/connect ac power. , there lot of log folders under application , services logs > microsoft > windows, had checked of them no luck far.

after hour of searching in event viewer, have found logs of power source change. can found under "application , services logs">"microsoft">"windows">"universaltelemetryclient"

so have created shutdown task trigger configuration below:

now task working intended, hope post can others well.
