good morning,
this morning while @ work randomly received a "windows security - microsoft outlook" - connecting (then it asks user name , password) pop box , cannot receive or send emails computer. i have tried entering user name , password, nothing worked. i tried changing password thinking problem, still getting box. can please me? need able send , receive emails in order work efficiently.

there possibility stored credentials not overwritten when outlook triggers authentication prompt if enable remember credentials option.
for isolate issue, suggest remove all saved credentials. remove stored credentials and force outlook use windows desktop credentials, follow these steps:
- click start, click control panel, , click credential manager.
note if view by is set to category, click user accounts first, , click credential manager
- locate set of credentials has outlook in name.
- click name expand set of credentials, , click remove vault.
- repeat step 3 additional sets of credentials have word outlook in name.
