Windows 10 BFE (Base Filtering Engine) service does not run on - Microsoft Community


it not run automatically windows firewall not run, although service's startup type automatic. strangely, can started manually without problems, , firewall works fine too.

the event log says: "the bfe service terminated following error:  the specified service not exist installed service."

so interestingly, if service not exist installed service, how able start manually?

i tried sfc /scannow did not find errors.

thank sharing current setup service. appears have correct settings yet pc fails allow service work normally. case, suggest sharing post in technet seek advanced suggestions pro users. they'll able tell perform next after executing troubleshooting have done here in microsoft answers forums. go page reach out audience in technet.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
