Windows 10 Password Reset when my User Account is the Only User - Microsoft Community

good morning here,

i formatted dell laptop , installed windows 10. have single user account , created password. have been logging in password until morning. can't log in same password.  windows asking me reset password , reset need reset disk. did not create reset disk before computer. 

how access computer? need work morning , don't want format laptop again because have files have not backed up.

kindly assist urgently.

to better assist issue logging in windows, we'd ask if using microsoft account or local account.

you can reset password using different device going link if using microsoft account.

if local account , recovery disk not available, have contact original equipment manufacturer assistance.
