Win 10 on HP Pavilion dv6 adjusts brightness automatically despite ALL - Microsoft Community


hello,

i have had extremely annoying issue while after updating 5 year old hp pavilion dv6 laptop windows 10.

windows keep adjusting screen brightness depending on monitor displaying (bright white webpage / dark black wallpaper).

i have found @ least 2 options manage annoying feature, 1 in windows control panel, other in intel graphic settings, still won't work.

as said, laptop old , there no way has ambient light sensor, , then, there doesn't seem can turn off.

has else experienced same issue? it's frustrating!

to isolate issue automatically adjusts brightness  of computer, suggest running system file checker. system file checker repairing corrupted system file, after update of operating system. may check steps on how run troubleshooter on link.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
