Windows 10 saying I'm not using a Microsoft account to login, when - Microsoft Community

i'm logged windows 10 microsoft account.  can verify because if go microsoft's account management page , change password, new password required logging windows 10.

however, if go "sync settings" there red message @ top stating "some windows features available if using microsoft account or work account".  using microsoft account, stated previously.

additionally, if try change password windows 10 "sign-in options" (as opposed going microsoft account on web , changing it) i dialog box states "something went wrong".  retry produces same message.

and further, if open file explorer , click on onedrive (which has green check-mark on if synced) there no files showing, though if sign onedrive on web same afore mentioned microsoft account, files show on web.

i know why windows 10 not seem acknowledge microsoft account logged in with.
