administrator change from me to my son on laptop I bought for him - Microsoft Community


hi, in need of advice and/or instructions regarding changing administrator me son on laptop bought him.  not computer savvy , thought on own. have tried several different approaches , don't want mess laptop anymore may have done far. there can give me step step instructions.  mom computer illiterate when comes type of issue.  help, directions, advice appreciated.  thank in advance.

if son has account on laptop already:

  1. go control panel (windows + x keys , choose control panel resulting menu)
  2. select user accounts - manage account
  3. select son's account , set type administrator
  4. if want delete own account, close control panel, log out, log in under son's account, go same place in control panel, manage accounts , delete old account

if son not have account on laptop:

  1. go control panel (windows + x keys , choose control panel resulting menu)
  2. select user accounts - manage account - add new user in pc settings
  3. in settings select 'family , other people', 'add else pc'
  4. create new account son, if wan can skip step enter son's email address clicking 'i don't have persons sign-in information' - 'add user without microsoft account'
  5. enter son's name , password if required, set account type administrator
  6. if want delete own account, close control panel, log out, log in under son's account, go same place in control panel, manage accounts , delete old account

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
