Flashing Desktop (one possible fix) - Microsoft Community


i’ve had friend flashing desktop, version 1607 build 14393.1198. screen background black , taskbar flashed on , off. luckily there had been user account name (administrator) set supplier used set account in friends name. (administrator)

having tried many things net @ point going delete friends account , start again when noticed file called ntuser.man. before deleting account , using user account name, decided delete file. friends account started normal after , normal background , desktop/taskbar icons recovered.

i don’t know file it’s not on home built windows 10 found under folder of friends name , not hidden file. laptop acer f15.

thought i’d share experience.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
