Settings in Windows 10 - Microsoft Community


when click on 'settings' icon lhs of settings screen appears ---this bit of 'catch 22' situation.

hello bob,

pleas answer these questions able isolate issue , give appropriate resolution.

  1. what make , model of device?
  2. prior issue, there changes/updates device?
  3. are there errors showing on end?
  4. what troubleshooting have done resolve issue?

did upgrade win 7 win 10 when kept getting messages telling me needed update before stop supporting win 7, , far must dislike win10.  i've had lot of problems, main being lot of times when turn on laptop, blank screen.  the laptop on , running, there light coming screen can't past screen.  at 1 point, closed screen go sleep, open screen , fine.  that doesn't work either - laptop won't go sleep.  i've tried going safe mode, messing different settings nothing has worked.  i install updates windows recommends - i'm @ loss , frustrated.  anyone have ideas on how fix blank screen logons?  is video driver issue??  i appreciate before frustrated , throw laptop out window.  :)  thanks in advance. answers post should include minimum information. 1.  device type. ie pc, laptop, tablet, surface. 2.  os type, home, pro, executive, etc 3.  current build....

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
