Task Bar Icons - Microsoft Community

for last 2 days icons on task bar have include name of app or file associated icon, ex. have excel icon text "kent's spreadsheet".

how make text disappear , leave icon?

thank response. change how icons should appear on taskbar, follow the steps below:

1. on search bar, type settings.
2. open settings app , select personalization.
3. go taskbar tab.
4. below multiple displays, click drop-down arrow of combine buttons on other taskbars.
5. select always, hide labels.
