Taskbar on second monitor - Microsoft Community


hi all,

i've got surface 4 pro , having issue taskbar showing on secondary monitor.  external monitor designated 'main display' , left of surface.  desktop extended onto external monitor.

it's easy enough drag taskbar on can't stay.

thinks i've tried(that didn't work):

  1. lock taskbar.
  2. turn off 'show taskbar on displays' option
  3. 'auto hide' option has no effect.
  4. setting surface display primary, rebooting, setting external monitor primary

any ideas?

for isolate issue, need additional information:

  • have tried setting resolution of system native resolution external monitor supports?
  • are on tablet mode or desktop mode?

we'll keep eye out response.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
