computer manufacturers love load software on computers slows computer. no wonder software known 'bloatware.' first step uninstall bloatware don't want.

computers run because there many applications running @ same time. open task manager , @ startup tab. need have applications loading windows?

computers come every feature turned on, way of showing computer can do. turning off features don't need speed computer. 1 area in particular visual effects. go control panel > system > advanced systems settings > performance > visual effects , turn off eye candy.

applications aren't compatible windows 10 can slow performance , can malware.

you need go through computer , turn off  or rid of things don't need. that'll contribute computer's performance. desktop 8 years old , runs faster burglar after alarm sounds.

you have several problems when thinking of installing windows 7:

1- windows 7 may not have drivers modern hardware.

2- you'll void computer's warranty.

3- you'll lose pre-installed software (that do want.)

4- you'll have clean install.
