Windows 10: Why is the audio on my laptop suddenly bad? - Microsoft Community


it working fine until couple of days ago started experiencing problems it. it's got nothing headphones because i've tested on other devices , functions normal. way i'd describe sound quality generated laptop headphones sounds it's been recorded tunnel, or compressed space. 

here methods i've tried (and failed):
1. going device manager, clicking sound, video , game controllers, clicking amb high definition audio device, accessing properties, , updating driver. 

2. troubleshooting sound problems in speakers tab

3.  disabling , re-enabling speakers 

also, see lot of solutions problem requires going speakers' properties , checking off "enhancements" tab, reason don't have enhancements tab? don't know trustworthy programs unsintall/install enhancements if that's problem. again, don't know if missing enhancements issue because sound fine when didn't use any. 

please help, frustrating isn't tech savvy. if need more details, ask away , i'll try best answer them.

we appreciate troubleshooting steps you've done prior posting. suggest uninstall , reinstall laptop's sound drivers. may refer how to: install , update drivers in windows 10 article.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
