Windows 10 Upgrade Multiple Issues - Microsoft Community

hi all,

since upgrading windows 10 i've been experiencing few issues, possibly unrelated or may point same issue.  i'm not pc savvy if ask me elaborate or give more info i'm sure i'll able help.

i'll start top:

i have fujitsu lifebook series ah531 had windows 7 or 8 (can't remember one)

i took free windows 10 upgrade heard many things , seemed great @ first.

then problem started.  had issue switched pc on , got blue screen of death not long after start , when put error code in google came driver fault on webcam (apparently common issue on lifebook ah531's) windows updates.

the error on bsod snp2uvcw10.sys (there i've since deleted photo took of it)

i tried updating drivers in device manager (for webcam) cure fault websites saying fix might webcam driver , windows 10 auto updates causing issue. thought idea update other drivers in device manager @ same time.

seemed ok while don't use pc every day (when have tablets , smart phones, laptops used less , less these days)

then needed iphone on itunes other day managed got bsod error code mentioned above.

every time laptop rebooted after bsod within 3 mins bsod reappeared , rebooted. 

i managed get to pc repair screen have 3 or 4 options (on blue background if helps understand mean i've never seen screen before, think said computer didn't start correctly or that).  think options were: switch pc off, continue windows or repair pc keeping files , option.  selected repair pc , keep files brought black screen blue windows icon , @ bottom said "preparing automatic repair".  know this, still have pic of screen when happened.

once process complete pc switched on , loaded windows 10 , the laptop didn't switch off anymore.  the  icon webcam doesn't appear in icon tray anymore (doesn't matter never use anyway) but since 2 more errors have started happen.

the main 1 apple iphone doesn't register when connected usb port. it didn't charge or register saying "trust computer" on phone.

the usb ports don't register usb stick.  when searching internet problem seemed drivers (again!!) universal serial bus controller in device manager.  when searched in device manager wasn't there update.

then onto next issue, common fix missing usb drivers in device manager seemed resetting bios default settings.  didn't fix it.  updating bios next fix reading seems risky thing if mess pc might stop working altogether.

then when reading possible bios issue pc informed me "file history drive disconnected long".

so decided post here trying fix individual issue may not 1 might spot single fix issues root cause seems when repaired pc where re installed windows.  seemed cause of issues (although did fix original issue)

my main questions are:

can me current issues "disconnected file history drive" , "usb controller not working/not recognising or charging phone" , think problems related?

what try doing is, open device manager, expand universal serial bus controllers.

right click each of entries, click uninstall.

exit device manage, restart computer.

windows 10 should reinstall them, see if devices recognized.

to honest though, think overall issue here issue not supported windows 10:

the best recommendation if restore full functionality system go windows 8.1 update 1.
