Windows 10 boot failure - Microsoft Community


i have been using windows 10 member of windows insider program since beta testing.

on january 2 performed maintenance on computer using iobit advance system care 10. scan computer once week. after scan rebooted computer usual. time computer displayed windows splash screen , went black screen mouse pointer , nothing else. cold booted and it did same thing. booted windows 10 recovery disk, same thing.

using windows 10 professional 64 bit on gateway computer.  intel i3-2120 processor , 8 gb of memory.  check hard disk failure, booted linux mint live cd, , can read entire hard drive.

to better assist you, know following information:

  • do see black screen before or after signing in windows?
  • do use multiple monitors?
  • have tried booting monitor connected integrated graphics port on motherboard?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
