Windows 10 is crashing every morning right after start up - Microsoft Community

this recent.  upgraded win7 ultimate windows 10 professional on 5 months ago.  install went super smooth, has gone since then.  on past few weeks, windows has been freezing approx. 45 seconds 2 minutes after start up.  @ first, giving me blue screen saying windows detected problem, collect data, , restart.  giving kernal error messages, different reason.  now, when freezes, freezes, mouse , keyboard have no function, screen frozen, if running, task manager because trying watch.  have cold shut down holding power button 10 seconds.  restart , once in while, freeze again, of time, fine second try onward.

i have dell xps 9100 2011, limited number made.  intel quad core 3.20 ghz 18 gb ram, , dual hard drives @ 7200 rpm.  speedy machine.  of time, when calm, cpu usage 0 or 1%, there no runaway programs using resources.  hard drive activity stays calm @ 0% unless webroot or automatic updates doing thing.  have no problems.  did check windows version, anniversary update 1607 build 14393.693.  in device manager, no devices reporting trouble.  startup programs try keep minimum, yet quickbooks likes shoving updater, , manager files in there no matter how many times try disable them.

i have been trying start both of printers turned off, still no difference on crashes.  today, turned off fast startup checkbox, , have not restarted machine since then.  see if has effect/result.  have read on , seems anniversary update causing problems.  not have solid state drive.  have not installed new software in past few months.  let automatic updates controlling thing.  java , adobe kept updated.  not know when anniversary update installed itself, have not gone review update history.

any ideas stop freezing problem?
