Desktop Icons missing - Microsoft Community


my desktop icons have disappeared.  running windows 10.  files , shortcuts still in desktop folder when go file explorer.  not in tablet mode , show desktop icons in checked when i right click on the desktop , go view.

i noticed happened after recent automatic update. 

any other suggestions?

  • confirm build installed on device. check, follow steps below:
  1. press windows key + r, type in winver.
  2. click ok.
  • do have external monitor connected device?

meanwhile, try right-click on desktop , hover mouse cursor view , make sure show desktop icons turn on.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
