Windows 10 creators update - Screen does not come back on after - Microsoft Community


after updating to windows 10 creators update (1703), laptop display not turn on after resuming sleep or hibernate (80% of time).  i can wake display causing adapter sync when external hdmi display plugged in.  obviously, reason display not told wake after sleep/hibernate.

i have dell latitude e6530 nvidia nvs 5200m display adapter.

here's i've tried:

  • updated display driver 21.21.13.7735 (may 1, 2017) nvidia
  • updated bios a21 (latest available today)
  • updated other drivers (nic, storage, etc...) using dell driver detect
  • tried using "project" change active screen.  this doesn't there aren't other screens attached.  if 1 connected main screen comes on.
  • disabled hibernation , used sleep.

there several reasons issue happen, computer needs restarted in order changes take effect or power settings. in order efficiently assist concern regarding issue of waking sleep/hibernation, have few questions you:

  1. aside creators update, there changes made computer prior issue?
  2. if have change power plan settings, have tried restarting computer?
  3. have tried running power troubleshooter?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
