Windows 10 won't start after getting past Windows logo in startup - Microsoft Community


i used pc last night , there nothing wrong. shut down normal morning when tried boot after seemingly normal boot after windows logo screen goes , should bring login screen blank black screen appears nothing on except spinning dots @ bottom centre. 

it stays way , nothing. after turning off twice holding power button on case start troubleshooting came up. have tried every option on there except :

1)pc  reset. don't want lose progress on games have if problem can resolved other means. 400gb of games on steam don't want have re-download. see last resort. not mention re-installing programs

2)command prompt. don't know it.

3)using recovery disk. don't have 1 , don't know 1 from. 

i have tried system restore came "windows unable restore"

i tried start-up repair, failed well.

kindly answer following questions better assist concern:

  • just clarify, did issue start after booting computer?
  • aside shutting down computer, there changes made on computer before shutting down?
  • are using laptop or desktop?
  • are getting error messages when boot computer?
  • were able choose "enable safe mode" or "enable safe mode networking" on troubleshooting page? if so, result?

we'll waiting response.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
