i have laptop running w10 home version 1703 build 15063.413.
due slow performance i've run multiple virus & rootkit scans.
  one of them flagging c:\windows\servicing\trustedinstaller.exe
as possible rootkit. during further investigation discovered there
are 2 trustedinstaller.exe files in system. 1 noted above,
and in c:\windows\winsxs. in checking properties of each,
the difference noticed 1 in winsxs has compatibility
tab. 1 in servicing doesn't have tab.
i question validity of 2 same named files. both ms files
(no digital signature. both show ms copyright). , serve valid purpose?
if not should remove ...\servicing one? thank you.
