Windows start up stalls - Microsoft Community

when start computer goes through till before enter password photo stalls dark blue screen date , time displayed, during start see update clock screen if updating not know trying update.

you have restart machine several times before can enter login password, why microsoft force have unworkable updates loaded onto machine in 1 size suits policy.

we own our machines not mocrosoft!!

 when did behavior start?  after windows updates?  if recent change see if can system restore time before problem began.

please post screenshot of disk mgmt  can check on disk configuration correct.

i run startup repair check on boot files see if correct.

next work through windows 10 install integrity checklist make sure install set correctly, optimized best performance, , needed repairs done. 

if steps cannot performed try whichever method works here access advanced startup options in windows 10  , startup settings safe mode networking may work better perform of steps, or advanced troubleshooting options use command prompt @ boot run repair commands in checklist.

if you’ll report go, may have other steps indicated.  complete them all.

remember upgrade and/or factory installs inferior installs tech enthusiasts never run in first place.  the  best possible install on these steps doing clean install windows 10.  short of there automated  reset windows 10 pc reinstalls os doesn’t clear hard drive cleanest.  both of these require reinstalling programs , settings, can keep programs , still reinstall os doing windows 10 repair upgrade.
