0x800706ba when logging on & cannot access device manager says - Microsoft Community


error code 0x800706ba when log on. problem started when couldn't connect wifi , ethernet option showing. removed latest updated came today , installed before problem started. seemed work because wifi works when sign on error message , when try reinstall update same error. when try access device manager told contact admin , same error code. there 1 account on computer , admin , has never been problem before.

• ensure time, date , geographical location correct region system located. (are traveling, crossed time zone etc.)

• using system file checker in windows 10

• disk cleanup in windows 10

• run troubleshooter windows apps

did upgrade win 7 win 10 when kept getting messages telling me needed update before stop supporting win 7, , far must dislike win10.  i've had lot of problems, main being lot of times when turn on laptop, blank screen.  the laptop on , running, there light coming screen can't past screen.  at 1 point, closed screen go sleep, open screen , fine.  that doesn't work either - laptop won't go sleep.  i've tried going safe mode, messing different settings nothing has worked.  i install updates windows recommends - i'm @ loss , frustrated.  anyone have ideas on how fix blank screen logons?  is video driver issue??  i appreciate before frustrated , throw laptop out window.  :)  thanks in advance. answers post should include minimum information. 1.  device type. ie pc, laptop, tablet, surface. 2.  os type, home, pro, executive, etc 3.  current build....
