Windows 10 Start Menu File Folders Will Not Open - Microsoft Community


david.goldie,  on 11-09-16 posted same problem have observed.  i running windows 10 on hp desktop.  when click start menu, programs , folders appear.  clicking on program onenote opens program.  clicking on folder, microsoft office, nothing happens , start menu closes.  also noticed snipping tool, had been in "life @ glance" section no longer there.

how repair start menu can access start menu file folders?

for better assistance, we'd ask following:

  • when did start encountering issue?
  • have tried running antivirus (if any) scan computer?

we suggest running system file check (sfc) , dism scan , repair corrupted , missing system files. so, please check thread.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
