How to make .exe file show up while typing in Start Menu? - Microsoft Community


let's have c:\app\someapp.exe file on disk. appear when type "someapp" in start menu. how achieve that?

i pinned start didn't help.

ok, figured out solution:

1. if don't have it, install windows 10 creators update

2. move "app" folder program files or program files (x86)

3. right-click on someapp.exe , pin start



Windows / Windows 10 / Desktop, Start, & personalization / PC

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
