WinType.dll error - Microsoft Community

hi everyone,

today woke , got computer, when found turning on reaaaaally slowly, , couldn't open programme because take ages load. decided reboot computer , problem still there.

first of computer took arround 2 hours start working @ not insanelly slow velocity, , of programmes wouldn't load. every time try open error message appears: "-******.exe - incorrect image- c:/windows/system32/wintypes.dll not designet executed in windows or contains bugs. try reinstall programme or contact system admin. error status 0xc0000006." (translated spanish)

after trying install , uninstall few programmes no result, tried restore system 3 days ago, problem still persisted, in spite yesterday computer working perfectly.

other things noticed:

- there no volume, system sounds working

- on task manager disk activity arround 100% activity of time, despite programmes consuming 0,1 mb/s (arround 6 programmes)

- haven't installed 2 weeks, guess problem has appeared because update

system details:

- windows 10 home

- intel(r) core(tm) i7-4770 cpu @ 3.40ghz 3.40 ghz

- 16,0 gb (ram)

- 64 bits, x64

to assist concern, suggest perform clean boot following steps on article.

if issue persists, advise run system file checker , deployment image servicing , management (dism) steps on link.
