admin & standard user accounts - Microsoft Community

i user of computer.  working in admin setting.  set admin user account password, , change current account standard user without password.  can done?  there particular order follow in doing this?  i.e. set-up new admin account first? or?  there problems in doing so?

also, in doing lose password internet sites?

hi pub fan,

you can create new user account on computer , set administrator. follow steps provided on page. once have added new administrator account, can change account type of original user profile standard. can remove password original account using new one. here steps:

1. sign in new user account.
2. go control panel.
3. open user accounts.
4. click on user accounts.
5. click on manage account.
6. select old user profile.
7. select change password.
8. without typing in password fields, click on change password.

you not lose passwords internet sites after applying changes.
